Encanto Plaza of Sancti SpĂritus is a beautiful, charming, small hotel of only 27 rooms located in the old town, on the recently reconstructed main square (Parque SerafĂn Sánchez); one block from the pedestrian shopping street and within walking distance to almost everything.
Built in the late 19th century as family mansion it had several other uses from 1914 to 1996, when it was totally renovated and reopened its doors as a hotel.
Its high ceilings, colonial doors, beautiful common areas and antique furniture make a very good first impression. Rooms vary: some are really big, while others quite small. Interior ones have no views but are quiet. The ones that overlook the square (6 of them have balconies) are more beautiful though noisier.
There is a restaurant,a small bar, an inner patio and a front terrace, perfect to sit and watch the world go by. Food and service are quiet good and the staff really attentive.
Be aware:
-There are no elevators and no facilities for physically disabled persons.
-The hotel features only 1 crib.
