Hotel Club Amigo Ancón is located on the homonymous beach, in a privileged setting with beautiful scenery near the city of Trinidad.

The hotel was built in the 80´s and hasn't been renovated in a long time therefore is looking pretty rundown. Rooms are small and dated, food isn't really good and staff is not the most helpful one will find. However, this resort offers a very attractive combination of nature, beach and the proximity to the wonderful city of Trinidad: it is located right on the beach and only a few minutes walk from an international diving center (very convenient for those who wish to practice this sport); almost all rooms overlook the sea, and Trinidad features a stunning colonial architecture, beautiful landscapes, numerous museums, bars, restaurants and nearby mountains to practice trekking...lots of charm and endless attractions therefore totally worth a whole day or two.

If to all this we add the lack of hotels in Trinidad (the few there are are often full all year long), Club Amigo Ancón becomes a very acceptable choice. One can easily stay here and spend most of the day and night in Trinidad, or dive in the pristine waters in the mornings and spend the rest of the day in the city, using the hotel merely to sleep.

*The hotel's only swimming pool will be closed due to capital renovations until May 2016. The snack-bar services will be provided closer to the beach area*.
