Also known by the name Playa Delfines, it is one of the most famous beaches in Cancun for its extension and the beauty of its crystal clear waters and white sands, spectacular view of the Caribbean Sea, hence it is known as El Mirador ( viewpoint).
One of its attractions is being able to enjoy the presence of dolphins in its waters, especially in the mornings. If it coincides with the period in which the turtles lay their eggs in the sand, you can witness this beautiful process. It is also the only pet friendly in the area so you can spend a pleasant day with your pet.
It is an ideal beach for surfing since its tide and waves are usually high, it is recommended to bathe without moving away from the shore given the currents that can become strong. You can also do other activities such as jet ski rides and parasailing.
Another attraction of the place are the magnificent photos that can be taken in it, including the typical shot on the Cancun sign that is at its entrance as a souvenir of your visit.
It is a public beach where you will have umbrellas at your disposal, hammocks as well as a play area for the little ones. It does not have restaurant services or stalls so you must bring your own food and drink although there are local vendors and very close you can find minisuper services and restaurants.
