This sacred place revered by Mayan civilizations is part of the Ik Kil Archaeological Park near Chichén Itzá and is also known as the Sacred Blue Cenote. It has a diameter of 60 meters and the height is 25 meters to the water, with a depth of 40 meters and it is a semi-open cenote connected to other underground caverns.
Its crystal clear and fresh waters are an invitation to immerse yourself in them, while you admire the natural beauty, the long roots of the trees in the shape of lianas descending towards the water, and the exuberant fauna and flora that surround it. It is an ideal place for swimming, diving and snorkelling.
It is ready to receive visitors and to get to the cenote you must go down a stone staircase. For your entrance you must pay a fee that will give you the right to bathe in the cenote and use its changing rooms.
