It is one of the magical places in the Mayan Riviera whose special characteristic is that it has a large cenote inside (with a depth of 82 meters) giving it the appearance of having a large hole in the middle (it is not allowed to swim in the cenote, which is limited with ropes and buoys).
This lagoon invites you to dive in it, snorkel and relax in its cool crystal clear waters while observing a beautiful variety of fish. It is also possible to practice kayaking and paddle boarding. Its name in Mayan means "Yellow Earth" and you can also enjoy its wild nature.
Warm and safe, it is popular for the mud baths it offers, which are said to have healing properties.
It does not have restaurants or shops so it is advisable to be prepared on your visit.
