The Park View is a modest and centric hotel, located next to Paseo del Prado, one of the most important and beautiful avenues in Old Havana.
The property was built in 1928, and reopened in 2002 after a complete restoration. Its construction in the 20th century was influenced by the American style of the time and benefited with the frequent visit of middle-class Americans.
Its location is privileged, very close to the National Museum of Fine Arts, the former Presidential Palace, today the Museum of the Revolution, the Central Park, the Great Theater of Havana and the Capitol. From here, you can access the main sites of interest in the Old Town, within walking distance and also mingle with the daily life of the locals.
Hotel Park View is a 7-story building and features its restaurant on the seventh floor, which offers great views of the city, Havana's bay and El Morro and La Cabaña fortresses, which once protected it from the attack of corsairs and pirates.
It also features a lobby bar and 55 rooms which are simple, with high ceilings, nothing fancy but adequate and equipped with the necessary comforts.
A simple, good value for money hotel, with an excellent location, perfect for exploring Havana.
