Hotel Encanto San Felix is located on Calle Enramadas, Santiago de Cuba’s main commercial artery, the city’s longest street (at this moment) and the one with more business establishments, also connecting Plaza de Marte (one of the city’s main squares) with La Alameda, a lovely promenade by Santiago's bay.
On top of its excellent location, within walking distance to most of the city's attractions, the Encanto San Felix has been totally and recently renovated and is now part of the brand Encanto Hotels by Cubanacan hotel chain.
Most of the Encanto hotels are not very large and are usually occupying beautiful houses or mansions once owned by wealthy Cuban families. Consciously restored and tastefully furnished, today they are very popular among visitors.
The word Encanto, which means Charm in English, can also be abbreviated with an "E", placed at the entrance of these establishments and integrated into the name of the hotel.
Hotel E. San Felix dates from 1910, features 42 rooms, a very welcoming spacious lobby and a great roof top bar that is perfect for enjoying the wonderful views; sip a mojito and dance to Cuban rythim on those nights there’s a live band performing on the terrace.
