One of the principal arteries of the city in terms of beauty and extension. It traverses the residential district of Miramar, with its formidable edifices of architectonic styles dating mostly from the decades 20s or 30s of the previous century.
It runs almost parallel to the coast and constitutes an excellent two-way (2 lanes each) avenue that serves to connect the city center with the hotel zone to the west and the Miramar Trade Center. Its extension also allows one to reach the vicinities of the Marina Hemingway.
For most of its length it presents a beautiful tree-lined boulevard strip featuring some idiosyncratic gardening, which serves to separate the two automobile traffic directions.
