At the heart of this 206 - hectare protected area is Natural Park is Bariay, which features over 30 beaches, numerous cays, and part of the Maniabon mountains.
The park features a recreated indian village - Aldea Aborigen - where the Taíno life is enacted, an archeological site, restaurant, the Caverna Tanque Azul, a huge cavern with limestone formations and an underground pool for scuba diving, snorkeling and bathing.
The first site of landing by Christopher Columbus is also protected within the park.
