Inaugurated in the year 2001, it was the second institution of its kind to be built in Cuba.

At this site one can appreciate the expertise achieved after years of training these convivial cetaceans and also revel in the unique experience of swimming next to them. There are two simultaneous spectacles on offer involving seals and dolphins, at 10 in the morning and 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

Very close by, at a mere 17 kilometers from the city, one finds the hotels Faro Luna, Rancho Luna and Pasacaballo.
