This is the name given to a middling size elevation on the outskirts of the city of Trinidad from where the visitor can bask in vistas of unequaled beauty, seeing how on one side you can appreciate the city from on high and on the other view the famous Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of the Mills), where one can still sight some of the towers of the old sugar factories that had their heyday in the XVIII century and made the place prominent as a patrimonial site on an international scale.
Of interest too at this site are the ruins of the Shrine of Our Lady de la Candelaria de la Popa, a former religious center of the town.
