The Street of Obispo (the Bishop) links the Arms Square, sited at the heart of the Historical Center of Havana, with the Central Park, and has forever been one of the busiest streets in the city.
Nowadays, it is a grand boulevard for pedestrians only with countless businesses and gastronomic spots along the way, where you can satisfy your desires for a Cuban souvenir or take a breather from the tropical heat.
The street got its name by having served as the place of abode of a bishop in the distant past. In the XIX century and up to the first three decades of the XXth, it was the business street par excellence of Havana.
