This is the factory where the cigars that represent one of the oldest brands of the legendary Cuban Habanos are actually rolled. The factory was inaugurated on the first half of the XIX century, and has ever since played its role in adding to the prestige attained on the world stage by Havana cigars.
Upon visiting one can attest “on site” to the whole painstaking process that the manufacture of these aromatic “puros” entails; starting with the initial dried tobacco leaf, later rolled by hand in accordance to the style and the size and shape of the different “vitolas”, as well as the finishing touches placing the cigar bands and preparing the precious boxes that will serve as a container until the eventual sale.
It houses in its interior a salesroom with a lavish stock of different brands of Habanos, to say nothing of the luxurious bar where visitors can go ahead and taste their purchase accompanied by a delicious aged rum.
Factory Visit Hours are from 9h to 17h, from Monday to Saturday.
