Founded in 1913, this eclectic building with an extensive facade with 29 balconies and 19 semicircular arches, is one of the most luxurious, centrical and ancient theaters in the city of Camaguey.
Being the first constructive work in honor of the poet, the theater has undergone modifications in which classical interior images of heritage value were suppressed, such as the galleries of the side boxes.
Scenic varieties such as theater, dance, circus and music can be enjoyed by 500 spectators after a major repair was recently carried out and their technical and other conditions improved.
