As its name indicates, this establishment sits atop a small hill located within the urban lay of the city from where one can revel in an excellent vista of the Baracoa bay; for further scenic possibilities, the restaurant is set in a three-storey building offering its top floor to customer service so it is unlikely that diners will command better views of the city from any other spot in town.
At the site, a client may enjoy dishes exclusive to this mountainous region of Eastern Cuba, such as those cooked with coconut milk or oil, on charcoal and presented with very peculiar garnishes like the varieties wrapped in plantain leaves. A special recommendation for the house specialty: Charbroiled pork ribs. Its very well stocked bar also enhances the stay along with the calm and familiar ambiance the place provides.
