The Hotel Telégrafo is located in the heart of Old Havana, in one of the most popular and lively corners of the Cuban capital; Prado and Neptuno.

It is a construction from 1888. It owes its name to the fact that at the beginning of the 20th century, the property had the only telegraph cable in Cuba. This also made it one of the favorite hotels for businessmen, who could call to New York directly from their rooms.

It reopened in 2001 as part of a project of the Office of the City Historian, after a total restoration that combines the ancient architecture of the place with modern elements. An example of this is the preservation of the original arches with exposed bricks, as in its inner courtyard, in contrast to the selection of contemporary, colorful and minimalist furniture in the reception area and the bar.

It is currently open for adults +18, focused on the LGTBI public but with a heterofriendly philosophy where everyone is welcome.

Its 63 rooms are spacious and offer views of the city or the interior patio, where the snack-bar is located, probably the most frequented place in the hotel, very cozy thanks to the natural light that the roof skylight lets through.

The front outdoor terrace is also very nice because from it you can enjoy the buzz of one of the busiest areas of the entire city, with its coming and going, old American cars, bike-taxis and even horse drawn carriages. Sometimes you can enjoy live Cuban traditional music here.

The hotel service and staff receive very good feedback from guests.

The Telégrafo is located right in front of Havana's Central Park, providing easy access to the main tourist places and attractions of the city, just a couple of minutes walk from the Capitol, very close to the Malecón (seaside promenade) the main squares of Old Havana, and numerous restaurants and bars.
